  • What is your favorite season to do flowers?

    Lets be honest…. all of them! It’s a tough competition for the top spot but I’m going to go with Spring. I love the bright colors, fresh growth of bulb flowers, the fragrant blooms, sounds of birds/ peeper frogs/ turkeys, the earth greening up again letting us know we’re heading into warmer weather and sunny days - a.k.a. flower season.

  • What is your personal favorite style of flower arrangements?

    I love making monochromatic flower arrangements. Using all different types, and textures, of flowers, in varying shades of a single color range. I feel it gives an eclectic and aesthetically pleasing look that shows off just how diverse, beautiful, and colorful nature can be.

  • Where is your favorite place to go see flowers?

    This is an easy question - Longwood Gardens! If you haven’t been there, GO. I’ve traveled a lot and always make an effort to see botanical gardens wherever I go, and I’m happy that my favorite place happens to be only a few hours from home in Pennsylvania located in Kennett Square.

  • Where is one place you really want to go to see flowers?

    This is a tough question, there’s so many places I want to see! High on my list is - Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve, California, and seeing a super bloom of wildflowers at Glacier National Park or one of the desert southwest National Parks.

  • Top 5 favorite flowers?

    1. Lisianthus - soft, fluttering, love the buds. My favorite is the white with purple tip variety!

    2. Zinnia - colorful, wild looking, great pollinators - I plant a huge patch every year

    3. Rose - classic, elegant, love the smell - is it cliché that I actually take time to stop and smell the roses?

    4. Campanula - delicate, bell shaped, simple beauty

    5. Tulip - many colors and varieties, elegant, resonates spring

  • What do you think is the most underrated flower?

    Carnations
